Fort Worth, TX (July 17, 2020) – Today, RATP Dev USA, a national leader in public transit, announces the renewal of Mountain Mobility, Buncombe County’s Community Transportation Program. RATP Dev USA has held this contract for the past nine years. The new agreement will have an initial term of three (3) years, with the option to renew for up to a total of two (2) additional three-year terms and officially commenced on July 1, 2020.

Mountain Mobility provides ADA Complementary Paratransit Services for the City of Asheville’s ART system, which is also contracted to RATP Dev USA. In addition, Mountain Mobility provides deviated fixed-route public transit routes open to the public (Trailblazer Routes) and referral services to individuals who may need or desire other mobility options, including other local and regional public transportation services.
