(June 8, 2020) - RATP Dev USA, the North American subsidiary of the global transportation provider, announces the appointment of Andy Manthei, former Director of Strategic Sourcing at BNSF Railway, as the Chief Sourcing Officer at RATP Dev USA.

“I am very happy to introduce as a part of my Leadership Team, our newly hired Chief Sourcing Officer, Andy Manthei,” said Arnaud Legrand, RATP Dev USA, CEO. “Andy will implement a formal centralized procurement program that supports efforts to reduce cost by leveraging our buying power, and provides measurable benefits for the organization, among other strategic purchasing initiatives.”

Prior to joining RATP Dev USA, Andy has had an extensive career in sourcing and procurement. At BNSF Railway, where he held tenure for over 30 years, Andy led both internal sourcing teams and contracting professionals to manage and negotiate purchasing contracts. In particular, during his time as Director of Strategy Sourcing, he leveraged the BNSF Coupa Procure to Pay system to manage sourcing for many $25M services in Engineering, Mechanical, Environmental, and Facilities projects. Furthermore, the years of experience with Coupa, from the implementation of the system, to managing the go-forward ownership of Coupa Sourcing and all subsequent upgrades will aid RATP Dev USA as they look to transform their systems and processes. He is an experienced leader with a demonstrated history of working in the transportation/trucking/railroad industry.

“As I end one career and start a new one, I am very excited and energized to meet new people and help RATP Dev USA in shaping their future,” states Andy. “As I learn more about the day to day operations of this great company, I hope to build sound processes and strategies that will further advance us as a leader in the Transit Industry. We will be successful when I am able to help the field perform their jobs safer and more efficiently as well as reduce expenses for the organization.”
