RATP Dev USA Wins Three APTA AdWheel Awards for Excellence in Transit Marketing

Long Beach, CA — February 26, 2025 — RATP Dev USA, a leading provider of transit operations and management across the United States, was honored with three prestigious AdWheel Awards at the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) Marketing & Communications Workshop in Long Beach, California. The awards recognize outstanding efforts in marketing, communications, and outreach within the transit industry.

The winning projects highlight RATP Dev USA’s commitment to creative, impactful storytelling and community engagement. The award-winning initiatives include:

  • Military Makeover: Operation Career Segment – Winner of Best Marketing and Communications on Workforce Development (Electronic Media), Group 5. This project showcases how public transit offers veterans a stable, fulfilling career path, leveraging their leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Stacy Winsett, Chief People Officer at RATP Dev USA, served as the corporate sponsor for this campaign, reinforcing the company’s commitment to veteran recruitment and workforce development.
  • Destination Spotlights - Social Media Campaign – Winner of Best Marketing and Communications Educational Initiative (Non-Workforce Development, Social Media), Group 5. This initiative highlights RATP Dev USA’s transit operations and management locations, featuring social media posts about contract start dates and city attractions accessible by public transit.
  • Transit Safety Starts with Me Coloring Book – Winner of Best Marketing and Communications Educational Initiative (Non-Workforce Development, Print Media), Group 5. An engaging educational tool designed to teach young riders essential transit safety habits, reinforcing community engagement and awareness.

“These awards are a testament to the dedication and creativity of our marketing team,” said Stacy Winsett, who attended the awards ceremony alongside Jenny Caldwell, Marketing Coordinator, and Cyd Craddock, Senior Director of Marketing & Communications. “Our goal is to not only inform but also inspire and engage the communities we serve.”

A key contributor to these successful campaigns was Brandie Peterson, who played a significant role in their development prior to her transition to RATP Dev USA’s Winston-Salem location as Director of Marketing and Engagement. Her efforts, alongside Cyd and Jenny, helped bring these initiatives to life and position RATP Dev USA as a leader in transit marketing.
