There were various sections in the competition such as driving technique (maneuverability, ease of access at the stop, backwards slalom and precision stopping), impact in terms of sustainable development (measurement of fuel consumption and CO2 emissions), customer relations (welcome, driving comfort) and a multiple-choice questionnaire, etc. – during which some sixty competitors took part from all over France.

Vélocéo kicks off to a good start in Vannes

The new bikes are modern, ecological, fast and comfortable and are intended to encourage the use of soft modes and meet travel needs of all the conurbation’s inhabitants, as well as tourists (of whom there are many in the summer). The Vélocéo system consists of a fleet of 50 electrically-assisted bikes. It is spread across six stations in the city. Three very reasonable price packages are offered, one by the day and two by the year.  

RATP Dev USA Selected to Manage Santa Maria, California’s Transit Service

Today, RATP Dev USA, a national leader in public transit, announced it has been awarded the contract to manage Santa Maria Area Transit (SMAT), the transit services for the city of Santa Maria, California. The City of Santa Maria selected RATP Dev USA through a national competitive process that awarded the contract based on best value procurement. Contract services are set to begin July 1, 2018 and will cover an initial period of three years with seven additional one-year options. RATP Dev USA has appointed Ken Smithson to serve as SMAT’s new general manager.

Fort Worth, TX (June 4, 2018) – Today, RATP Dev USA, a national leader in public transit, announced it has been awarded the contract to manage Yuma County Area Transit (YCAT), the transit services for the cities and towns within Yuma County, AZ and a portion of Imperial County, CA.  Yuma County Intergovernmental Public Transportation Authority (YCIPTA) selected RATP Dev USA through a national competitive process that awarded the contract based on best value procurement.

Transvilles: partner to a unique, world-class exhibition

After the Middle East, Asia and Oceania, it is in Valenciennes that the famous British Museum’s touring exhibition will begin its journey round Europe. This first European showing will take place from 19 April to 22 July 2018 at the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Valenciennes, which has joined forces with RATP group, one of the exhibition's official partners. This exhibition tells two million years of history through 100 objects from the collections of the British Museum, dating from 2,000,000 BC to the present day.
