Riyadh

Cars reign supreme in Saudi Arabia. Very low gas prices mean family cars are the norm, however roads are often saturated as a result. In fact one of country's top metropolises, Riyadh, ranks as the fourth most polluted city in the world.

A convincing, practical alternative had to be suggested that would also be comfortable, safe, and affordable.

Casablanca

"In 2012, the tram was a completely novel concept in Casablanca. Today, 140,000 people use it every day". That's how Youssef Draiss, CEO of Casa Transport - the transport authority of Casablanca - sums up the popularity of the tram in Morocco's economic capital.

Arezzo

La Ferroviaria Italiana (LFI) currently operates two regional railroads and several bus routes around the city of Arezzo in Tuscany, a central Italian region. 

The two tracks, Arezzo-Stia heading north and Arezzo-Sinalunga heading to southern Tuscany, cover about 60 kilometers. The 152 buses serve Arezzo and the surrounding communities.

Bath

Offering a different type of round-the-clock sightseeing and enjoying a bird's-eye view of the most beautiful cities in the world: that was the challenge the Bath Bus Company set itself. Tourists discover the cities of Bath and Cardiff from its open-top double-decker buses.

 

The company can even organize weddings, birthdays, or other private events on the iconic red buses.

 

Aix-les-Bains

Ondéa is the second largest city transit system in the Savoie. It services the eighteen municipalities in the "Grand Lac" conurbation around Lake Bourget.

 

Three routes run at regular intervals every 20 to 35 minutes, year-round, Monday through Saturday. They service some 70% of the region as well as main traffic hubs like train stations, the downtown area, and shopping centers. Another special line services some of the stops every sixty minutes on Sundays and public holidays.

Hydrogen-Powered Buses Set to Transform Columbia, SC's Transit by Late 2024

As RATP Dev USA continues to support and maintain The COMET’s fleet, we’re excited to announce the arrival of two new hydrogen-powered buses, set to be in service in late Q3 2024. This milestone reflects Columbia's commitment to advancing clean transportation and aligning with broader environmental goals.

In 2021, The COMET secured a grant to enhance its fleet with both electric and hydrogen-powered buses. Although the buses were initially scheduled to arrive by the end of 2023, their introduction has been rescheduled to late Q3 2024.
